absolutely no intention of doing such a thing and it hurts my feelings that they believe I am such a monster. Should I leave them out in tonight's hail storm to teach them a lesson?

Nope, don't do it, you'll regret it later. I was having the same problem somewhat w/my whirley gigs. I heard them last week saying that if I didn't start leaving a light on outside at night they were going to run a muck in the garden. So, w/o saying I had heard them I started leaving the light on at night and all is well. Heaven knows what could of happened. good luck.

Be careful..gnomes can be very territorial & try to break the flamingos legs. Maybe you should separate them for a bit, ya know, let them get used to the idea that they're there but not too close. Then ease them into sharing a lawn. Maybe bring them snacks to eat together--invite them all to run through the sprinklers with you..make it fun & watch the friendships develop :D

I think they have noticed your favoritism toward the pink flamingos. Leaving them out in the hail storm would only confirm that idea. Don't do it. They might start a riot on your front lawn, and you don't want to cause a scene in front of the neighbors.

No bring them inside for a nice dinner and you can all plan a vacation or even a weekend get-a-way. Gnomes get bored and like a little travel.

I wouldn't do that, If I were you. Lawn gnomes never forget...never. They might try to kill you in your sleep or something. and the worst part is, they'd get away with it. Trust me, I saw a Twilight Zone episode that ended the same way.

C'mon, from one Lisa to another...
How are your gnomes going to learn to trust you if you punish them? I'm sure they have many wonderful things to say about you, if you listen at the right times! Just be nice and see what happens.

If you're considering leaving them in a hail storm, maybe you should go ahead and sell them.

Oh, the only reasonable solution would be to sell them. Your hurt feelings will heal. But their's won't. It's too late already.

Yes, they shouldn't think that way and if they think you are a monster then you should show them the real definition of a monster. Don't worry...it won't hurt 'em.
