Can anyone give me names of some newly formed metal bands that are worth listening to?

Bands like Agalloch and Porcupine Tree have released some good material recently...the bulk of their material was released this century, so they could be considered new.

Your question is not answerable since metal is not worth listening to. It is grunting, scrapeing, grunting, banging , and basically noise. It cannot, in any way, be called music.
