What do you mean you "felt convicted"?
SHE made you feel bad about the tape? Or about HOW you taped her?
If you've already convinced her once before, try the method that worked then. Or come up with a new one...like, the truth. Tell her why you want one, how you feel about the old one being broken,...
Hopefully you'll be able to work out something with her that keeps you both happy and comfortable.
(...try a 'no face' tape. They do it all the time in pornos---usually the guys faces are conveniently 'cut out'! If you do one where neither of your faces are showing, just bodies and body parts, then with this method maybe she won't mind doing another tape and everyone can win.)

You felt "convicted"? I don't understand. If it was between you and your wife, what's the problem? If you want her to do it again, you're going to have to start by just asking her.

"I felt convicted so I broke it" what does that even mean? ...good god why is this hard for you? if she has already done it once than why cant you ask her to do it again? unless she has said she would never do it again than I guess your screwed.....
