a Ghost in the Machine? assuming for a minute that ghosts exist, I don't see why not. There are documented cases of ghosts appearing to "possess" objects as well as people. There's a rather creepy scene in the film "Ghost" where Sam communicates to his murderer via a computer

What is the definition of a ghost? As a disembodied entity it has a lot of energies left to manifest in earth's environment. So yes, it is capable of affecting some machines on earth.
