He ain't to old. It's you that she worry if your to old, which your not. Your body is still young and fresh. Usually the mother takes care of the baby most of the time, so he won't be so tired. I'm 33 and 26 weeks pregnant and the father is 44. Not really a big difference but I tease him that he will be 50 soon.

This morning on the Today Show they had an article on fathers who are in their 50s or OLDER ... so yes, I think you should tell your guy that he'll be an 'extra good father' and that if you want three and he wants at least one more, you should 'get married' and do it again (about two years after this one, though, for both your health and the baby's health).

there are so amny people who wait to start families nowadays that he will not stand out.

My grandparents were 25 years apart when they got maried, my Grandpa was 44 when his first child was born and 45 when his 5th was born. He lived to be 93 and was a grandfather of 17 and great grandfather of 5 before he died!!

My husband is almost 45, and we are expecting twins in December. He is not uncomfortable at all about being a late father. He is actually completely thrilled. These will be his first kids.

Tell him about all the "stars" way older than him having kids. Tell about hugh hefner his kids are'nt even 20, except his daughter, I just think it's cool that he enjoys his time on here.
Tell him you don't feel he's too old and you want a family with him no matter how old he is.

My step dad was 61 when my sister was born (obviously not planned), and my mom died from breast cancer when my sister was 11, and he has raised her, very well I think, she is now 20. I think it is part of what has kept him active and in good shape, kids breathe new life into you no matter what your age is. Congratulations!!
