like for a date or the dentist or perhaps an intervieuw?
can anyone see that you are nervous or can you hide it?
I usually cant... :(

I used to be nervous and shy when I was younger but the older and wiser I got, the less nervous I am. I enjoy going on interviews because it's a big game. You know they are going to ask you dumb questions like I was asked recently. They asked me "how many times have you called in sick this past year?" When I said none, the interviewee was surprised. Then when I said I have not called in sick in over 7 years and even on that day, I had some personal business to take care and was not really sick. The interviewee was very impressed. I knew by that time I didn't want the job anyway. Just look the person right in the eye and pretend to be confident even if you aren't. Just looking them straight in the eye will be make them feel intimidated.

I am a very talkative person, my friends think I should be a comedian. I enjoy acting around people I know.
But when it comes to anything, doctor's appointments, presenting a project, dentists, ugh.
It's really funny actually because of my personality, but I have a hand tremor, and when I am nervous my hands shake even more, and people mention that to me a lot. I sometimes can't pronouce words right, I choke on my spit, and my heart starts to thump and I get a closed in feeling.
Just today I got infront of a class of mine, I had practiced and everything. And it just all went away. I couldn't remember anything, so I spent about 3 minutes up there speaking.... pausing.... speaking.... and pausing some more. I have spent the last 3 school dances getting up the courage to ask a guy to dance, and I haven't succeeded yet.
Yeah, lol i am easily nervous.

i can usually hide it, i just wipe the sweat off my hands before going in for the handshake
