and he moved to Texas and you live in California....would you try to find him and get it back, or just move on and call it a jerk tax?

I would move on, the longer it takes to get it, the longer you have to deal with him!! And, hes outta your life for a reason! That is alot of money though, if you think you can actually get it out of him More power to ya!!

hell yeah i would to get it back it was a loan not a gift. I would take his *** on judge mathis and make him pay the money. because 1,800 is alot of money a sista got to eat no half stepping in here lmao

Good luck. You won't get a dime unless you had a written contract. You gave him $1,800 as a gift.

Send him a formal letter requesting payment, if he never responds call it a jerk tax.

I once paid $3000 in "Jerk Tax". Learned my lesson.

Take him to court in Texas. If you can prove his debt to you, use a judge like "extreme Akim". He's in Texas, and there is judge Alex. It is simpler to use their court. Give it a shot.
