This sucks.....I have a Dell Dimension e520 and i want to upgrade my video card to the Geforce 8800 GTS, but the thing is huge! It wont fit in my case....is there any model of this card that doesn't have the big fan on it that makes it so big? If so please send me the link.....
If i cant get this card, (which is unlikely that i will get it because i dont think i will find one without the fan on it) i will get the GeForce 8600 GTS.....is this a good card compared to 8800 gts?.......Iol ive found out that it sucks to have a branded computer instead of building one....I just want to play Crysis when it comes out on somewhat high settings!!.....

Thanks a lot

Sorry my friend, The 8800GTS is just a big loooooong card. Theres no work around for that. (there is a water cooled version without the fan, but its like 500 bucks and your system must have a water cooling system in it) The 8600 is a great card too but it does not even compare to the 8800. It's like a Ferrari vs. a Honda Prelude (stock)

Here is a cheap but effective solution - Buy a new case! your MoBo will fit in almost any Mid sized ATX case, and all you would have to do is move your parts over from one case to the other. I know its easier said than done, but I have had to do it a couple of times, and it isn't too hard. Here is a great case for $65 from Xion: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811208008

This comes with a 450 watt PSU, but you will have to toss it out and get a 6 or 700 watt for use with your 8800GTS. 450 watts wont even scratch the surface. However, for 65 bucks this case has superior air flow and TONS of room. The design is a bit childish, but im a big kid at heart. Any way, thats a low cost solution to your problem.

Hope this helps.
