Your best bet is to call around to see if the stores have it. The stores doesn't know when they going to get the next shipment. :)

buy the sunday newspaper and check the advertisements, make friends with someone who works at best buy/circuit city/toys r us, or go to online forums and see if someone has posted anything about any up-coming sales of the Wii systems.
If you walk into a store, the employees will probably not give a specific date.
Your best bet is ask your "new" friends every friday, because they sell the new products on Sundays.

The best way to secure a Wii is to call ahead. Call the stores, and ask when they get shipments. That day, get there early, and buy one.

eBay has them, but don't get them there - it costs $400-$600. Get one at Walmart, Shopko, Target or any other place that sells games for $250.

go to best buy. and if there is no more ask them for a rain check.
