Personally i think daddy paid for her release. Poor little rich girl should have done all her time since she had already had her punnishment halved. What does that show people?? If you have money are you above the law??

She is an uncaring, except for herself, spoilt brat. She could with her wealth, help so many others who are in dire straights, but being the thick ***** that she is, she would not know how to do anything for anyone except herself. I wonder how many soldiers lives it cost, to make the world a safer place for her to abuse and use laws of the country that she is allowed such a priveliged life in?. I do not recall any of the Hilton family winning medals for selfless valour, in any conflict. I sincerely wish that she could be humanised again and do something usefull with her life instead of being just another rich, selfish, slag. What sort of an upbringing did she have? did her parents have no time, or interest in her during her adolescense, is she really is the saddest example of the old saying "poor little rich girl". Maybe the world would be far better off without her or her kind. A final thought! she is the product of her parents ideas of childcare, she was not born to become the way she is now, she must have been an innocent little kiddy at some time in her sad life.

Do you Know there are people in jail for 2 years for stealing food?, during while Pete Doherty had been 7 times arrested for Burglary and Possession of 3 drugs class A at the same time and now this with Paris Hilton.

The issue here is that they don't walk out cause they are famous, they walk out cause they are rich, the issue is that we know this cause we follow the cases but this, sadly, unfortunately and repugnantly happens every day.

The rich people sell, consume drugs, steal big money and even kill walking out free while the jail is full of poor people whose made "a mistake" and will pay for life in many ways.

In the Hospital, in the court, in the police, in the street and in your job more than never ever, materialism, classicism, racism and abuse are in rampage. And we pay heavy, heavy, heavy taxes to sustain such monstrosity of system.

And they call it: Democracy.

It proves that justice is no longer blind. It's unjustfied and demeans any true sense of justice. If home sentencing is good enough for those with money it is certainly good enough for the rest of those who mock our laws, endanger others. This is unfair, unjust and makes a mockery of our justice system. Everyone convicted of a crime should be given every consideration she has been given.

Our judicial system is further enabling.

Frankly I see nothing attractive about her. She is just a homely, skinnly little rich girl who has nothing to offer society and she will soon grow old, ugly and miserable.

I'll never understand how our system of Justilce can justify this?

Is there a reason why we should care one way or another ?

Don't worry about the 4 lives lost on a average each day from Iraq

As long as we have Anna Nicole father news and Paris Hilton news and Lindsey Lohan news

all is alright with the world right ?????

Yea he did. Not fair at all. I hate her for it. Her whole life is unfair and childish. She has done nothing in her life, yet she is one of the most popular people in the world. Money makes the man/woman, indeed.

What if the roles where switched and I grew up as she did you ask???

I would be the same way. ;] So would you, and you, and that chick over there. Why? Because we're rich and we can, that's why.

As I understand it she was removed from the jail for "mental health" reasons, and will serve the full 40 days remaining on the sentence under "house arrest". I just hope she does something TRULY stupid (read violation of arrest / probation) and gets arrested again !! Oooooh !! "Paris busted for party, cocaine found, felony charges coming !!"

Fair ? Not really, but then again it frees up the jail staff to care for prisoners unstead of catering to her whining.

Money certainly obtains great legal and medical care.

Hilarious - I read that she couldn't sleep because almost the entire inmate population was chanting 'Paris' all night :)

Poor little thing...

If it was for a genuine medical reason, then it's ok...

If not, then I think she could have stick it out for another few days at least before daddy or mummy got her out!

Please, shes no threat, she hurt no one and caused no property damage, shes under house arrest and thats fine because I don't have to pay for her room and board.
The average jail term for her offense is ten to fifteen days, she got forty five, whats that say? Shes going to be the butt of jokes for the rest of her life, that would never happen to 'ordinary' people. It may have been too disruptive to the jail to keep her in and as she wasn't a threat, what was the point, to make everyone even crazier than they are now? It wasn't murder folks, get a grip.
