I don't get it. Carls and BK both have flame broiled burgers. The whopper tastes flame broiled, the Super Star tastes flame broiled.

Don't the Six-Dollar burger and the BK Angus Burger taste like they were steamed-in-the-bag? The seemling have NO flame-broiled taste to them.

Even McDonalds Angus Burgers don't taste as good as the QP. Is it my imagination? What are your reviews?

I'm not talking the toppings. The taste of the meat lacks flame broiled taste.

I have noticed the difference also and I do not like them because of that. I like the flame broiled taste.

The preparation method must be different. The patties are thicker and probably require more cooking time, so they probably have a different method.

Most Certified angus beef actually comes from another breed... but it's a little higher grade. The biggest differences in hamburger choices are generally what cut of meat is used, or weather it's mixed beef. Much like steaks, the cut of meat will have slight variations in flavor due to fat distribution through the meat. The fat content is by weight how much extra fat is added back into the meat so that it's not dry when you cook it. For hamburgers on the grill lean burgers will work well, generally the 94/6 beef. ground beef higher in fat will be a little "Jucier" and will have a little more flavor to it, however it isn't quite as good for you. I use 80/20 ground beef for things like hamburger helper and normally 90/10 for things like Chili. Back to the origional question, there is really no difference other than grade at slaughter. Hamburger due to it's processing really isn't any different when it comes to the final product.

Because the ground meet comes from the cows anus/butthole. The butthole is the tastiest part of the cow because it has small bits of cow turds stuck on when it is ground up. The little cow turds stuck to the anus add a earthy gourmet flavor not found in other parts of the cow used for hamburger. The norsemen from the ayauhuasca tribe of purple foreskin made this discovery of the tastiest part of the cow during the ancient coming of age ritual of consuming 7 anuses of 7 cows on the 7th hour of the 7th day of the 7th month of the 7th moon on the 7th highest mountain

Well, the thing is Angus meat comes from buffalo, not cows. Buffalo meat is just generally more expensive. If you go to the supermarket, you probably will see Angus meat in the meat section by the beef. You will also find that it cost more. That is because that is buffalo meat.
