what is the most noisy thing in your neighborhood?

mine is a dog who is barking, birds in morning hours.

My neighborhood is SO noisy --- there's ALWAYS someone mowing grass or someone having trees cut down or an ambulance going by (we live like five blocks from the hospital) or the train going by and the biggest --- there is always construction going on, in the four years we've lived here, two houses have been built right in front of us and three houses right on top of us have been completely remolded. Oh yeah those stupid birds start around 4:00 a.m. here too !! GRRRRRRRR.

I live in a townhouse, and it's my new neighbors.
They're a young couple with two small kids & she's preggy with #3.
She thinks she's gods gift to the planet, and he is a skinny gangly thing...
The kids are wired on sugar and run around the house from 10am till 11pm every effin day - running, jumping, slamming doors, and HIGH PITCHED screeching on the tops of their lungs.
I've asked them politely three times to keep it down, but they don't care...
I've since complained to the strata - and now I have to keep a log of their noise and write letters to the strata of complaint.

In all the years I've lived in either apartments or townhouses, I've never had such rude neighbors EVER.
I told my strata that hopefully after I kill these people, they'll put me in solitaire to clear out the banging in my head that they're causing.

Bed time - try 11:30. That way you get at least 7 hrs sleep before the stupid birds wake you up.
PS...kill the dog
PPS...yes I'm an ultra quiet person. Plus I even offered to pressure wash their stairs for them since he works nights and she's pregnant and I have a pressure washer and they don't.

All the building they are doing behind my house, the trucks are hauling dirt out, then more dirt in, Trucks full of Wood rumbling over the dirt roads at 6a.m. Last Yr we had the birds to wake us up, our wildlife are being pushed out of their homes & then these people who buy these Houses, wonder ..'Who is stealing 'Fluffy'...Gheeze your living on a Coyotes home. Every yr. our moutians would be full of Beautiful wildflowers all summer. But these 'people want homes with a view...so do we, but not of your 'Tickey Tackie House', anyone remember that song? As soon as we cross threw the' mountians' where 'The Long Ranger', 'Bonaza' many of those showes were filmed...all we see in 'Houses' many 'clinging' to 'mountian' ridges. Very sad.

On a regular basis, it is the lawn mowers, string trimmers and blowers.
I live behind a rifle range and sometimes that can get pretty loud. It is used by law enforcement and they practice all hours of the day or night, rain or shine!

everything... i'm in brazil (there's no noise restrictions)

the bass of every car, the exhaust of the cars, the neighbors' parties... all the dogs, the cars that broadcast advertisements all day long... people like to blow their horns all the way down the street, at night...

just stay up until you are exhausted... then you'll have no problem going to sleep. that's what i do.

I live next door to a hospital so the ambulances make the most noise !!!! You should go to bed when you get tired. That's when I go!

It's a toss up between one of my neighbors really loud truck and my other neighbors ATVs....I'll go with the ATVs because it's really annoying when at 7:30 in the morning, you hear them riding up and down the road. over and over.....and over!!

I live near a police academy and a college so you can always hear the college bell tower and police firing rang I love both sounds Oh ya be hind me is a volunteer fire dept. so the trucks too.

Birds. Those damn birds wake me up every morning. I wish I could shoot them. >.<
