Hell hath no fury eh?

Better be careful he doesn't find out that you are after his parents money as well as his own, he may decide to spend some of HIS inheritance on a 'contract' on you!

Earn your own money and stop leaching off your ex!

What makes you even think that you have a claim? When do you think your divorce kicks in? I take it that if you won the lottery you would give him half.

This has to be a wind-up, so that is how I have answered it.

Of course you are entitled to a minimum of half if not more your a woman you have rights, just because you divorced him that dousnt mean you cant keep trying to control his life , and as for his parents dying tragically, hey , your a woman what do you care. you need to stop thinking of other people and think of your self a bit more. you deserve this money , your a woman.you have the right to this inheritance go for it !!!!

Interesting question, but it makes you look like a money grubbing biotch.
I would see s lawyer because his inheritance might be classified as income and in that case you may have a right to some of it.
I personally hope you don't get a dime, but it was an interesting question.

That depends on how long you were married, the divorce decree and the laws in your state. I would hazard a guess that you have no claim on the money unless he is in arrears on child support or alimony.

If thats the case, contact the courts to let them know that he has come into an inheritance and ask them what you need to do to get what is owed to you. Also ask that they ban him from spending the money so that until you get what is legally yours.

I hope you are kidding. He must have been a right b...d to make you still think like that after so long and in such tragic circumstances. If you had children together then they might be able to claim?

OMG!!!! you little gold digger! That is soooo terrible. Its women like you that give us ladies a bad rap.
No. Once the divorce decree is filed w/ the courts. You are no longer entitled to a damn thing your X!!!! gets, just the same as you are no long responsible for any debt so long as its listed in the divorce.

No! That is just wrong. You would only be able to claim money if you were named in the will. This would only further put a burden on your ex husband and in my opinion he doesn't need anything extra to bring him down. He just lost his parents for Christ's sake!

If it were YOU that just came into money because of the death of your mother & father, would you think it fair that your ex of 10 years ago, had some kind of claim to it?

No! thought not.......

No, you will not. It has been 10 years since the divorce there is no way you would be able to get your greedy hands on HIS PARENTS money! You should be ashamed of yourself! wanting a payout for his parents death!
