I talked to my ex girl friend a few times over the phone 18 months before she asked for a divorce.Says it broke her heart and trust in me.My ex girlfriend and i owned a business together going back a few years before imet my wife. She hates her and they had words on several occasions.I got caught in the middle.

I think her parting words were her way of letting you down "easy", if you will. She is basically saying "no way in hell am I ever getting back together with you!!" So just let it go and learn(like you said you have) from your mistake(s) and use that wisdom and experience for when you do find/meet the next woman of your dreams. Bexcause what ever it was that you did this is her way of saying that she will never be able to let it go, forgive and forget. Take care of yourself and good luck friend.

Well I just read what you had added regarding your ex/business partner. All I can say is ,to me , you did nothing so wrong. And it seems that your ex is probrably still miffed that you got caught in the middle INSTEAD of taking her side and telling the other chick to get freakin lost. EVEN THOUGH the words were between your wife (at the time) and your business partner. It showed your wife (however warped it may seem ) that she wasn't your TOP priority. She also probably thinks that maybe she shouldn't be soooooo affected by what had transpired but the case is that she was and still is and can not put it behind for you 2 to move ahead.

I am truly sorry the both of you hadd to go through this mess. It's too bad that the both of you couldn't have resolved the matter at hand and leave it all in the past........

Peace be with you

Because women are never wrong and instead of parting ways in bad terms she figured she'd say that so that if she needs something from you in the future you'll do it. Will she make the same mistakes that she made when she was with you but with a new man? The answer is no because she believes that you did everything wrong and she's the victim. She didn't hear you before either.

Funny, I said the same thing to my husband when we separated. With us - he hurt me for years with his selfishness and his lies. I got tired of it around about the same time that he realised that he was being a jerk. The problem his, I don't trust him and don't want to live through that pain again. I have no doubt that he is a better man and I know that the next woman will be lucky. But I am done and have had my fill. He is still trying to win me back, we have been apart for 6 months, but with years of stupidity - it will take even longer for me to believe in him again.

Good luck!

She proceeded in the divorce, signed the papers, and said what she did for a reason. She doesnt want to be with you anymore.

My mom said "too little too late" I think that applies to so many broken marriages, by the time you give a #$@ the other person is empty.

she was telling you nicely to get lost, she was trying to make it sound like her leaving was actually her fault and she was a beotch for doing it,
