Yeah, on www.studioakt.com, if you scroll down from that page, there is a display of a website they did for Whole Wheat Bread. The font I'm looking for is typed in yellow.

Yeah it definitely does not look anything like Arial, and it is a font; I've seen it elsewhere.

Sorry but that font is not "distorted" or "edited"... it's a popular font, and I've compared that website to Alternative Press magazine and everything is the same. I've worked in Photoshop doing graphic design for years and years and know what I'm talking about. That is a font that apparently no one can identify.

it's pretty close but still isn't it!

It may surprise people that all the words or text one sees in a website is not necessarily a "font style". To me it looks like Arial Black that has spent some time in a graphics program like Macromedia's Fireworks with a little coloring and softening of the edges, etc.

I be very careful of using some font styles or cut and pasting off the web etc, just because you like the artwork or font style it may be copyrighted and some people will haul you in court over the use of their copyrighted material. So be careful.

If you don't have a good graphics program (fireworks etc.) and you plan on doing web design etc, it would serve you well to get a good one.

I hope this works for you.

Understanding that I will gain no points by answering (or failing to do so), I will tell you that, I have had the best luck identifying fonts by opening any of my favorite graphics software packages (Photoshop, Gimp, Paintshop Pro) with any image, then attempting to Write Text on the image, and scrolling through the text until I find the font that matches the font whose name I'm trying to finger out...

You might want to try the WhatTheFont font finder on MyFonts.com, or you can ask the website designer.

I don't recognize the font, but you may find a similar one here: http://grungefonts.8m.com/fonts.htm

Check out "Romeo" on Page 6...pretty close to it?

The site you put in has nothing to do with your question

Click on the above link to verify this.
Post the correct site and I’ll try to help.
It would be helpful if you put it as a link, then you could check to see if it works.
