I have seen the I phone on TV and im very intrested. I just need ot know so information on the phone.. Like, who is the service carrier and what kind of plans are there?Also, can you text and is there AIM? I recently have the sidekik 2 and i like it but im thinking if i should ge the sidekick 3 or the I phone. I am aware of the price and the ipod capabilities. But, i would liek ot know why i should get the I Phone or the Side kick 3. i liek them both and my mother is planning on getting me one for my birthday. So i need to know right away.

Apple iPhone.
Its ONLY for AT&T. (used 2 be cingular, but they bought them out)
The phone comes with either 4 or 8gb of space on it.
im not sure if it has aim, but it has internet. FULL internet with TOUCH SCREEN.
but the iPhone is 10X better than a sidekick 2.
but the price range from $499.99 - $599.99

The iPhone is only offered by AT&T on a two year contract (the monthly cost of the contract is still unknown, but is expected to be comparable to the cost of a two year contract with other smartphones)
The phone itself has full texting, browsing and email capabilities. It has a flash player as well so you may even be able to watch youtube on it, if you care :P I don't know anything about the sidekick so I couldn't compare them, but the iPhone seems pretty nice. The 600$ price tag seems a little steep to me, but then again, I'm not a cellphone kind of guy anyway.

The service provider is cingular and it comes with a 2 year agreement. Yes there is texting on an iphone with a full QWERTY keyboard, and i assume AIM will also be available. Not to mention its feature loaded, and amazingly simple to use. Iphone is definitely the better phone no comparison.

AT & T will be offering the iPhone on June 29th. Yes I believe you can send text messages and aim. The iPhone is a bit pricey starting at $499 to $599. I'd wait and see what type of plans are being offered and go from there.

Go for the iphone! Though webacess will be slow since it does not include 3G but texting would be great. I am not sure if AIM is included.
It is being offered through AT&T (formerly cingular) for 500 or 600 bucks.

i heard the iphone is going to have alot of software glitches at first... it might take them a while to get it right. I think its only for GSM networks now, so ATT/cingular and t-mobile.. im sure you will be able to text, but im not sure about AIM cause that is windows based, unless they make a mac version of AIM? im not sure

great way to waste money.
Go for it. Run up your mom's credit card some more.
In a couple more years you should be able to bankrupt your parents and then your family will be homeless.
