Psychiatrists are medical doctors, so you are looking at 4 years of college (at least), then medical school, then internship, then specialization, etc. In short, it will take quite a while if you are starting from scratch.

To build a medical center would require millions in real estate development, construction, zoning, licensing, etc.

You would definitely have to carry malpractice insurance, which is expensive. If you are sued once you could survive but your insurance rates would skyrocket. If you were sued a second time you would have to go out of business--you couldn't afford it.

To become a psychiatrist you need to go to college, take core sciences, get to the point where you have enough credits to sit for the MedCat examination.

Go to medical school. Obtain your M.D. or go to Osteopath school and obtain your D.O., then spend 4 years in residence with a hospital specializing in psychiatry and then 4 more years internship.

All totalled about 12 years. Then add onto that the money you need to build a health care center. Well that all depends on how big a facility you want. The sky's the limit I'm afraid.
