Some people would like you to believe that the Coriolis force affects the flow of water down the drain in sinks, bathtubs, or toilet bowls. But, like the peson in the answer above found, the Coriolis force is simply too weak to affect such small bodies of water. The direction of flow depends upon the way the water is introduced into the drain, and the curvature (shape) of the drain or a sink itself.
For example, my toilet drains counterclockwise, but my sink drains clockwise, I've tried this several times and it always does this.

The main reason is the design of the toilet bowl. The coriolis effect plays such a minor role at that scale that it would have almost no effect on the direction; if the jets push the water out such that it's going left instead of right, the water will go left.
It takes considerable time for the coriolis effect to be noticeable on the scale of a basin of water.

Unlike popular misconception, water flow down a drain has nothing to do with the earth's rotation, nor the hemisphere you are in (coriolis effect). It has all to do with the design of the bowl and the orientation of the flush nozzles.

Look at it in the weather the low pressure areas and how they rotate . It is such a force that u will never see a hurricane cross the equator.
