I believed in him. defended him against rabid liberals bent on his demise from the start. I voted for him in the last election not knowing he only had the best interests of Mexico in mind.
I am hurting now because I have been betrayed by my party and my president. I now join the masses who are unhappy with president Bush. those of you who wish to gloat and say you told me so may do so now....thank you

When Bush was helping the empire pleased you, you liked Bush.
When Bush was helping big corporations by bringing in cheap labor displeased you, you disliked Bush.

He was consistent, your wishes were not.

I'm impressed that you have the ability to change course when you've made a mistake! Never apologize for that - more Americans, in both parties, should learn from your example. Moreover, Bush is not a mainstream Republican - he's an extremist, what we used to call a reactionary. His administration has ignored the center and the left for six long years, completely ignored them, so that entire sectors of the economy are teetering on the verge of collapse. Bush is attempting to restructure our country into a "corporate state."

As far as Mexico is concerned, Bush and roughly half of the Republicans support the amnesty bill, just about the same as Democrats. Remember that John McCain co-authored it. I'm a Democrat, and I hate the amnesty bill. The posters above are simply trying to pin it on the Dems for political gain. Congressmen from both parties should pay in 2008 for supporting such an idiotic bill. Find out who they are - it should be easy to learn how your state's Senators and Representatives voted - and vote against them in 2008.

I agree with you about most of what President Bush has done though can you imagine where we would be if the President was Gore or Kerry?

I disagree with the comment that you have been betrayed by your Party and your President. The President is lost on some issues though the Republican Party still has a lot (not all) of people fighting for America and the Constitution and they need your support. We just have to get rid of the ones that deserve our scorn.

Bush is doing what he is told. He is part of the global elitists seeking total world control and domination. He is actually certifiably insane. Now we are moving towards a North American Union with Canada and Mexico. There will be no more national sovereignty. They have new currency already printed and stored in major banks. It's called the Amero. The U.S. government is deliberately not doing anything about illegal immigrants; they will be used to take over America. It's already happening.

"How did he sell you out? The amnesty bill is being pushed by the majority of democrats"

You have lost your mind..... why won't republicans ever stand up for the truth??? Did you forget that our President is a repub? If he was soooo against the amnesty bill he would have squashed it a long time ago... this is Bush's Bill NOT the Dems.

And to answer the question.... Bush sold us out because he works the for the Global Elite, not the American people. Have you ever heard of the Georgia Guidestones.... look them up and you will see what he is working for. NWO. As a matter of fact it is something his father was pushing back in the early 90's

He is just working to fufill his father's vision of a "new world order". The day I first heard Bush #1 say that, it sent a chill down my spine. Somehow, I convinced myself that it didn't really mean he was working towards a one world government... I must have been mistaken. A US President would never do such a thing! HA! How mistaken we were - but the Dems are no better. Many Dem govs. and in Congress are just as guilty for deal making with enemies of our country.

So what are good Americans to do?

The screaming in the media has sold us out, not George Bush. While I disagree with him and the democrats regarding amnesty, I think this war in Iraq could have been over by now had the politicians kept their mouths shut about it, but its just impossible for a politician to not be opportunistic. Its a lesson they failed to learn from Viet Nam.

Bush sold you out just like the democrats did me... I hear you my brother. For every dead American kid, George gets residual payments from all the corporations... Halliburton, Exxon-Mobil, Blackwater... It is no longer the question of LEFT or RIGHT, Liberal or Conservative, Democrat or Republican. It is a simple question of RIGHT and WRONG, that's all. How is it that the majority of Americans who disapprove of the regime's actions are called unpatriotic wack-jobs? What happened to the unselfish act of questioning authority? The government and the media have hijacked America. I cry for my country, I didn't escape Soviet Union for this... We need help!

I, too, belived in him. He is not doing what the American people want him to do. He is working for us. You shouldn't let them tell you "I told you so" because your dislike for him is different than theirs. He masqueraded as a conservative, but he is obviously not. He is a lame duck president and he does not care what the people want. But, the people spoke about the immigration bill. I am worried now that he is trying to resurrrect it, but I think it will be to no avail.
