I tell her to eat but she only eats when she feels like it, and only eats a small amount, she gets full really fast, she says she has a small stomach and that nothing else fits. Her brother forces her to eat and she still doesnt eat, I do the best I can to try to talk to her into eating but shes just not hungry, and when she does eat, she goes to the bathroom and vomits all of it. I just dont get it, whats wrong with her? shes been going to doctors and they get nothing, but I think they should X ray her stomach, maybe she has a parasite or thyroid since her mom has It too, but shes only 14. please help, give me advice.

Her mom needs to ask the doctor for tests--parasites, thyroid and look into other disorders.
Some people cannot absorb their food.

Also, she needs to see an eating disorder specialist. She probably need to get a referral from the doctor.

She needs to get help soon. She is still growing and the lack of nutrition can be very serious.

This person needs a full medical and maybe a phsycological workup. There are many reasons a person will not eat that are medically related to certain illnesses, which a good Doctor can pick up. There are many emotional conditions which can cause the same symptoms AKA anorexia nervosia, Karen Carpenter syndrome, fear of getting obese, etc. The dizziness and ear ringing can be symptoms of malnourishment, or an electrolyte imbalance, and may prove serious. Get her to a good Doctor and go from there.

Peace, Gizz

OK what ever you do do not get angry or lecture her because it will make it worse tell her that you are worried about her calmly and gently and ask her to get some help about it because you are worried and if (hopefully) she will agree and give her moral support like go to some meetings or appointments at eating disorder clinics with her to back her up. Now I must warn you she might get a little touchy and moody it is important that you do not rush her she needs to do this in her own pace. Good Luck. Oh and another thing most eating disorders are caused by something like someone could have bullied her to find out what has caused it go right back to the beginning when she fist starting showing the symptoms and get to the exact point where it started and you could find the cause and also this could help her because if the cause is removed then the stress might go.

Most likely she has an eating disorder, Anorexia and bulimia. She needs to be treated by a mental health professional who specializes in eating disorders.

When I read that the first thing I thought of was, she is the perfect age to have anorexia. She wont admit it. But it is a possibility. Also... maybe she is doing it on purpose, taking diet pills? speed? She is just 14 but that is a possibilty as well...

It sounds like she has an eating disorder. Maybe she doesn't want to admit it. Definately have her go to the doctor, what is happening is not healthy.

i think your girlfriend is anorexic. its not her stomach that has the problem, its her head. she thinks she is fat so she doesnt eat. but it could be something wrong with her stomach too. you need to tell someone before she ends up in real trouble.

Well it sounds like she is bulemic. But if that's not the case, tapeworm is possible...either way she needs a doctor.
