At this time of year, there are many art festivals that accept entries. Look in your local newspaper. Or, google something for your area.

There is a magazine that lists all the art shows and festivals, dates for submitting, and even cities that are holding contests for artists grants or to buy artwork. It is called Art Callender and can be purchaced for $37 a year for montly subcription, or $33 to down load it every month for a year.

In addition, some art shows are listed in the back of Artist Magazine, or other art magazines at Barnes and Nobel.
