I've seen the commercials for this phone and I have to admit I like it but it does come with a hefty price tag $499 and $599). AT & T will be offering the iPhone for their wireless network.

I'm not going to waste my money on it. I already have a good phone and a 30GB iPod. I spent less than the lowest asking price for the iPhone for both. Why anyone would spend $499 or $599 for an iPhone is beyond me. My phone(Samsung t629) was $99.99 and I bought my 30GB iPod after the price drop and it was $248.44 at Walmart. So I paid $348.43 before taxes, and have a good phone and an iPod with MUCH more storage than both iPhones.

I've debated it since I need a new phone and I don't have an ipod. Since I could use the email features of a blackberry and internet browsing while being mobil this is an appealing option to me. But I wouldn't buy a 1st gen version and I'll probably need a new phone before this becomes available anyway. I may consider upgrading to this later if the price comes down and there aren't any major issues with it. But I won't be picking this up this month. This thing is really too much for the average user and as someone else already mentioned you can buy an ipod with more space for less if that's the factor driving your decision. This thing looks like it was designed to replace your phone, camera, ipod, and internet service which is great if you don't already have all of the above. I've seen the commercials too and the interface is pretty cool. The sensors built into this thing along with what it does makes me wonder just how durable it is though.

No. I already have a video iPod, and I like my cell phone - it's a KRZR and I just got it, and it's really nice. I don't see any need to spend more money, but I'm sure many will.

i will love too. But is to expensive now, then you will see it cheaper and even for free with activation. Another thing, if one feature get damage all the other might damage too.

I'm going to buy it, but I'll have to save my money. I'm hopping that by the time I have enough money the price will go down.
