Is there mountains behind the beach (how tall), is there a cliff at the edge of it (how tall), does the beach have a steep or shallow slope? is there large rock outcroppings on the beach? is there large sand dunes? Anything that has to do with elevation which falls bellow or rises above sea level which is easy at the beach....cuz the sea is right there.

The 'topography' of any 'area' is the way it 'rises and falls' ... so you should think about that when talking about your 'beach' ... how does the sand 'rise' out of the water ... and does it 'go away rapidly' to rocks under the water, or not? Are there 'hills and valleys' along the water? HOW did they 'form' and what is 'underlying' them (more sand, rocks, dirt, etc.)?
