It's not really a teen book, but you might enjoy 'Case Histories' by Kate Atkinson. I did.

Have you tried Hard Love? I can't remember who it is by, and unfortunately the firewall at my work won't allow me to search it. But it won some kind of prize. I think you would enjoy it. Hope this helps!
