Spiders! Can't even look at a picture. Even have a hard time writing the word or saying it. I wouldn't come out of my bathroom once because there was one over the door.

My worst fear is vomit. When I used to share a room with my brother, and cousin...my cousin is known to get sick fast and always vomited crap on my belongings. One night he had to sleep beside me. I woke up for some odd reason, and 2 seconds later he blew chunks all over my bed and in the bath tub. It seemed like every place we moved he did this--i felt bad for him at one point. I dont have that problem anymore, because we have a new place, new state, and ect. My brother is a teen and doesnt get sick easily--or at all lol. But the fear keeps occuring and I get nervous if someone sneezes near me, or mentions the feeling of being ill. *shurgs my shoulders* It SUCKS....
In your case...sorry to hear that. consider moving to a location that doesnt have prevalent tornado invasions. Perhaps the upper northern states like New Jersey, New York? Also, block the weather channel on your tv program list...if that helps

Spiders. They horrify me. I don't even want to get close enough to wack it w/ a shoe (and don't you DARE use MY shoe!) I keep a can of Raid so I can kill it from a "safe" distance. It really is irrational, but doesn't interfere w/ my life much. However, between the puking and the crying you are beginning to have some issues. Talk to a mental health pro in your area. There are ways to treat phobias (which is what it sounds like you've got)

Tornadoes must be terrifying, but the worst fear in the world for me is burning to death. That would be the worst, most horrible way to go, especially if you didn't dies right away.

Not being able to watch my 3 1/2 year old son grow up. I am so scared of something happening to me or him that I don't even think about it.

I feel so sad for all who have fears of any kind-does fearing something keep you safe or does it sap your energy, cause physical problems,i.e. upset stomachs, headaches, vomiting as one person said?
Until I became a Crhistian by the grace of God in Jesus Christ, I feared dying as I somehow knew I would go to hell-now I have peace in every situation because I am in His hands even if I am at the center of a bomb drop or if my children die-I would sorrow and miss them but our family all know the Lord as their savior and we look forward to being in eternity with Him. You will never have total peace on earth until you are trusting in Him,not self, not others, not good works, just in Him. I pray you find that peace that goes beyond human understanding.

I'm scared of outliving one of my children and of tornadoes. Five of my husband's co-workers got killed in a tornado a couple years ago. They never scared me before that, but now I'm terrified.

I would suggest going to a counselor and talking about this. It's best to talk to someone than just continue to live in fear which perpetuates the fear even more.
My worst fear is dying alone or, even stranger, throwing up.

My worst fear is to lose one of my children before I die. I have met so many parents in the hospital that have experienced that and say that it is worse than any physical pain they could ever imagine.
Fire would be my next.
