It's a slap in our face is what it is. Her alleged "medical condition" is that she was probably homesick. I find the whole ordeal a mockery of our "justice" system.

I think it's a complete injustice. She's a spoiled brat that couldn't handle the responsibility of her actions. My boss was saying at work today how she is sure to leave her house. I hope she does that way she can go be where she should be right now. I think Lindsay Lohan should be in jail right now too. She's done practically the same stuff. Quit letting her go to rehab. It's obviously not working so maybe getting what she deserves will.

It is an injustice. If it were anyone else that were "ill" they would go to the hospital or the doctor that the jail has.
Also, if this were true. So there would need to be medical treatment within her home and let's see.....there isn't..
If she was simply depressed and feeling blue then it was obviously having the desired effect of punishment...
B/c of this special treatment it will most definetly not be her only trip to jail...

It's definetely an injustice. Any normal, average joe person off the street would have had to serve their full time and probably wouldn't have had their jail term cut in half. I believe here in Michigan your second DUI charge in 3 years is up to 1 year in jail, so I guess it pays to be a spoiled, rich, girl who's dad pays for all their escapades.

Plain injustice. She could be under house arrest, but you know she will be partying at home. If she can't go to the clubs and get her drink on, the people will go to her and she will still get her drink on

It's disgraceful that she was sentenced to house arrest. Now, that's a real punishment considering the lifestyle she lives. And what an awful message this sends to young people who want to emulate her. She's nothing but a joke and a few other words that I can't use. She has no morals whatsoever and has made a mockery of the law. She has no respect for anyone or anything including herself. She doesn't deserve anyone's respect or admiration.

im sure she got sick, anyone would but everyone who goes to jail gets sick but they don't get out like Paris did. The average person would just dealt with it the best they could.

Joe Francis did the same thing when he was in the Florida jail with his psychiatrist saying he was "suicidal". So they transfered him to a "special" jail he was more "comfortable" with.

I know everybody hates Paris, she's so spoiled, what a slut, ...etc. Okay, okay.

Fact is, house arrest isn't that uncommon. She's gotta wear that ankle bracelet which is pretty uncomfortable and degrading. And she'll still pay for her crime, I believe. The court will keep reviewing what's going on and I doubt will let her slide on the rest of her obligation.
