I didn't bleed at all the first time or ever...
Just keep your muscles relaxed...
**Edit - the pain you feel is not a great deal of pain...and I think it's mainly because you are nervous...you just get a little sore...honestly, it's not a big deal...people really blow it out of proportion...you will be just fine...just have the dude go slow...like I said I didn't bleed, but just go slow...don't get all freaky the first time...lol...

Every woman is different. Some women bleed a little, some not at all like the first answerer. I have never heard of anyone "bleeding like crazy". The only suggestion I could give to help minimize bleeding is to make sure that the man doing the job is being gentle and not acting like he's wielding a weapon down there!! (In other words, the rougher the sex, the more the possibility of bleeding so he needs to go EASY!)

I didn't bleed at all either, it just hurts a little. You might bleed if the guy is rough, if your hymen was particularly closed (it's like a seal we have in there. Some women have it more closed than others-this is what breaks when you have sex for the first time and why it's called "popping your cherry"), or if you're so nervous you get dry down there. My advice: use lots of lube (KY Jelly or Astroglide are great, around $6 at any drugstore in the condom section) and tell your guy to take it reeeeaaaaaalllyyyyy slooooowww. The whole experience will be a lot more pleasant for both of you.

Uh no you don't bleed like crazy. If you bleed at all it is because the hymen breaks (many girls who use tampons or play sports already have had it broken). It is a small amount of blood. And no there is nothing you can do about it.

The bleed part is true. But, the extend depends on how big his weapon is. The bigger his circumference, the more pain you will have to go through. Its very very pain like you can ever imagine then after a while, you would want it yourself. When the entrance is loosen, its a bit itchy and only more of him is needed to pacify it. Wash it very gently after that and dap gently before putting it to rest. Raise high both legs to prevent prolong bleeding. For one of two days, maybe a bit akward to walk due to the soreness of the tear.. Oh my goodness!!! to see a woman walk like that would really turn me on.... Serious!!!!!!!

It's true that when your hyman breaks there is bleeding, but not gushing blood. Many girls will have already broken it through the use of tampons.
It's one of those facts of life that you will just have to deal with.

I didn't bleed at all and I didn't think it hurt that bad either. Good luck and don't rush it. When the time is right, it will feel right ;-)

I didn't have any pain or blood my first time. I think it depends on how thick your hymen is. The thicker it is, the harder it is to break through and the more blood there will be. You'll never know until you try...

If you are not physically active your cherry has probably not popped yet. When you have sex there will be a little blood the first time. Dont worry its normal.
