I don't honestly know why some people are racist. I agree with you, it doesn't make sense. Every race is beautiful. Every race has something to offer humanity. It does make me feel sad that people can discriminate on how much melanin a person has in their skin. I love multiculturalism. Diversity rocks! I also don't know why people discriminate against gothic people.

Maybe they feel bad about them selves so they they are mean to others. I really hate racist people. A friend of mine was once so upset she was going to run away.... I don't know why some people are racist,, why can't they just let people live and be happy. All races look good. It's not like one is better then the other. I also agree that why can't they accept gothic people. It's just the way they are;; and I think it's good. If we were all the same it wouldn't be a nice place... I like that people all look different, think different, act different ect.. The friend I talked about before though she was ugly because of it.
I think she is pretty and I like being her friend. In really don't like racist people.... Some times I really wish I could stop it but I can't really...

i sometimes ask myself this question and criticize but then I turn around and do it myself.there are many different reasons TV,movies, entertainment people love to stereotype and can't stop and it's also broad casted for example making Asians play the role of doctors or blacks as drug dealers or law breaking citizens. Also people have issues and take it out in different ways or on different people. Most of all people don't understand each other and their cultures if that step was made everyone would have a new view at life. However I never really met someone Gothic before I am around a lot of urban high school students but I do think I understand a little so fill me in.

Why because they live in a very small space on this earth, they do not know any better as they have not been exposed to other cultures and traditions, so they fear what they do not understand. Another point look at the guy "Cruel" he has the Hitler moustache. He is trying to get attention, they are usually people brought up by ignorance and fear in the family and desperately want any kind of attention even if its the wrong kind.

Most behavior that you and the people who answered this question call racist is nothing more than dislike. If I don't like Doprah because she's fat, stupid, egotistical and ugly, people will label me a racist but disliking her for those reasons has nothing to do with race. There are many more ignorant people who label others as racists than there are actual racists.

Why is it that everyday this question gets asked and it's never by a brand new user? It's usually a Level 1 person looking to stir up some drama to amuse themselves. Go look the answers from yesterday and the day before and the day before that.

Because they weren't Home Trained to "Love Thy Neighbor" and that's when being ignorant plays a part in these type of people's lives.
On Gothic peeps, I think they're unique and cool. But your typical "ignorant racist" would think that Goth people do Satanic rituals, sacrafices, chats with the devil, etc.etc.etc.....
You be you and the best you, you can be!!! Take care.

People find prejudice against others who they feel threatened by or fear. There are a lot of unfortunate stereotypes in the world that create fear, and people who are ignorant and uneducated often give into them and find it easier to believe that one size fits all then to try to look at each individual as just that.
Gothic people are just another group of people who are feared by people who don't understand the way they choose to express themselves. They look at at someone dressed in gothic clothing and because they can't see themselves expressing themselves the same way, they become fearful that they don't share the same values and wary of their intentions.
Again, it's ignorance and a lack of effort taken to not subset a group of individuals into a safe stereotype in one's mind.

It's a known fact, people fear the unknown. If they took the time to actually walk a mile in another person's shoes, they may see the light.

in general a rascist feels threatened by a group because the fear of his own inadequacies are discovered. his actions are projections of his feelings for self but he isn't brave enough to deal with his problems so he picks on others and creates lame truths to make his actions acceptible or justified.(on the surface)
