Aging myself here..... When they first introduced those cologne/perfume vending machines in the bathrooms of my second-home/fav bar, we all thought they were great. $1 for a trial sized vial! She's managed to put him down a multitude of ways just by the two words "bathroom Polo" He's reduced to buying cologne in a bathroom because he can't afford a real bottle, or he is so desperate he feels loading up on it will better his chances with the girl. Polo, by Ralph Lauren, was an OK cologne in its day, but that was the 80's for crying out loud. He's using the same cologne his Dad probably wore! And $3 worth??? Smell him a mile away....

cheap cologne. Polo was a very popular cologne in the 90's and there were knock off versions found in bathrooms everywhere. Depending on the lyrics you read some of them say bathroom cologne and some say bathroom Polo. cheap a** cologne is what is meant. $3 worth of that bathroom Polo- it means he bathed in it as the knock offs were everywhere and super cheap.

In men's bathroom, there are dispensers. We get the condom dispensers that you put like 50 cent in and get a condom. Some even have these faux cologne dispensers. You can put in some change and it'll dispense a couple of sprays of a cheap fake version of your favorite cologne. Bathroom polo is a cheap version of polo that probably stinks really bad and he covered himself in it and got it in the mens room from one of said dispensers. Hope it helps.

Polo is a man's cologne. Ritzy restaurants and bars usually have an attendant that will hand you a bottle of something to freshen up with, usually Polo.
