Really interesting question to ponder. However, everything that I have read over the years points to his demise in Germany. He would have been quite the find for Simon Wiesenthal, had he escaped from Germany.

Oh yes he did, some said he shot himself, but that´s not true, he did not have the guts to do that.He took a poisonous pill and so did his newly wed wife Eva Braun in a bunker in Berlin, when he found out that Germany would loose the war. Those of his military friends who survived the war have told this The truth about where their bodies are, of if there are any bodies left, we will never know.Trust the history books, Hitler was a coward.

The last minutes of Hitler are a mystery and nobody will ever find out the truth.
According to the russian report, Heinz Linge, Hitler's valet, positively identified the dead body and confirmed that Hitler took cyanide and shot himself in the right temple. Then, Linge with the aid of SSs, set Hitler's body on fire.
The russians took the body, performed an autopsy that confirmed the head wound and the presence of glass shards in his mouth (from the cyanide capsule), and burried him at an undisclosed location. So, no other attempt has been made to identify the remains.
The legend says that Hitler escaped and hid in Argentina with the aid of Peron and his government. I'm in Argentina and I can tell you that, as far as I know, he's not here.

After the fall of Berlin the Russians conducted a investigation into the death of Hitler. Stalin wanted to know if he was really dead. They interviewed, not too gently, people who had been present in the Fuhrer bunker, prior to, during and after Hitler's death. Those files are now available to historians. There can be little doubt he did indeed commit suicide and never left the area of the bunker.

Yes Hitler did commit suicide. After his country Germany lost World War 1 and 2, he killed himself because he could not stand being defeated a second time.

Yes he did. The day after he married his longtime mistress Eva Braun, Hitler shot himself in the head (Eva took a cyanide capsule). The bodies were then removed from Hitler's bunker, doused with gasoline, and set on fire.

He was in an underground bomb shelter when he died. He and his new wife used a poisoned pill that kills in about 3 seconds. His wife just took the pill, but he took it and ate a bullet before the poison shut his system down. Then both of their bodies were burned so that Stalin could not hang them in the USSR for Soviets to mutilate.

Alot of strong rumours that he was permitted to escape to South America where he died in the early 1970s. Operation paperclip. Alot of WW2 criminals who were Catholic were given refuge in the Vatican itself while awaiting an escape to South America such as Pavelic, leader of the Catholic Ustase, the yugoslav nazis. actually the only reason they believe he killed himself is because a german SS officer claimed 2 have buried the bodies and when they went 2 look the place was destroyed by bombs so you really would never know he could have said that so they would not keep searching for him, and i think he went and lived in an underground bunker or something for the rest of his life but maybe him and eva (his wife) had kids if he got away.
