If so, how much would it cost?

Yes. True swordmakers still make them today. I was at a Rennaisance Festival, the proprietor of Angel Swords was an American trained by a Japanese family in the way of Japanese swordmaking. He had several Damascus steel blades- Absolutely gorgeous!! One was a full set of swords a Samauri would have owned, back then it was between 10-15k. Probably a little bit more today.

It would cost a lot. Real Damascus steel used "Wootz" steel from India, and that isn't made anymore since the 18th century. A few attempts have been made to reproduce Damascus steel. Pattern welded steel isn't Damascus steel.
