My spouse has replaced the seats several times, all different kinds. The same thing always happens, pretty quickly too, they turn blue! Everyone thinks it's funny, and my doctor looked at me like I was nuts, but it is happening, and I want to know why. If it's dangerous, I think it is something I shoule know...Even if it isn't, I am still curious why.

Are you wearing blue pants of panties? Maybe the dye is rubbing off on your butt and when you sit down it gets on the seat. Or maybe whoever cleans is getting the blue cleaning product on and it stains. But there is no medical reason for pregnancy to turn your toilet seats blue. Now if you start peeing blue, it's time to bottle it and take it to the doctor. Until then, it's unrelated.

Try a different cleaning product on the toliets, I worked in a care home and they got a new product that turned all the toliet seats blue. They had to replace them and get a new cleaner so that they weren't turning blue. I would try just using Mr. Clean for your toliets.

lol that is the funniest thing i have ever heard...and sadly i do know why.... not as an insult but im going to guess that other then being pregnant you are a little over weight? i have seen this in other peoples houses...and i bet your using ceramic not plastic....sweat,pressure,lots of use will wear at the paint...rub your finger on tried white out...it will either have a bluish tint to it or black if your fingers are dirty....same thing...its not like its blue paint underneith just a wear and tear type of thing...and when your peeing 80 million times a day...you tend to rub your chunky sweatty *** on the seat a bit. lol. get a plastic one....or wood...but then u may get slivers lol

Interesting. Wonder what would happen if you bought a blue toilet seat? I'm sorry, I'm just kidding. Never heard of anything like this.

It's probably the dye on your pants rubbing off. Pregnant women tend to sweat a bit more than non-pregnant women. The sweat is making the dye on your jeans (or dark slacks) rub off and it transfers to your toilet seat when you sit down. Is your underwear also blue? It happened to me once.

wow, that is nuts, the only thing i can think of- is like if you have all new materniy jeans at once, and don't wash them, and the dark ink, dies your skin and rubs off onto the seat. But that would be pretty obvious.
man- i have no idea- thats super nuts!

Is your husband playing a joke with you? Maybe the toilet is heat sensitive and turns blue.

Thats happened to me before. It was only because I was wearing new jeans. I doubt that you've bought that many new pairs of jeans, so I don't know. Did you buy the entire fam new jeans?
