"Even Cowgirls Get The Blues"
Matt and Sunshine were just waking up. Matt Dillon, U.S.Marshal, still marveled at the fact that he no longer slept in a little cot in his office/jail. Ever since he had met and fallen in love with Sunshine MacGillicutty, his place of residence was her little farm. He loved it here. When he turned to face Sunshine, he realized that they had company in bed:

Daisie Dixie, Sunshine's puppy, had acquired a new friend.....
A little kitten Sunshine had named Gray Lady. Matt smiled....He just couldn't get over how his life was changing!!
He looked at his love and spoke...."(4.) I Couldn't Leave You If I Tried, sweetheart." Sunshine awoke. She cuddled close to him and kissed his hand.
Sunshine:" After (1.) Lovin' All Night I certainly hope that leaving is not something you are thinking about doing."
Matt kissed her......"Not a chance, baby.......Not a chance."
(3.) What Kind of Love was this? It was the good kind....The real kind.
As they were having breakfast, they discussed the things they were going to do around the farm, that day. They loved working side by side....Sunshine managed to make any chore lots of fun. Whether she was jumping out from behind a tree and scaring him half to death, or swinging from a vine over by Green River doing her famous Tarzan scream:

She always put Matt in stitches. And then of course there was her insatiable sexual desire of him......Many a time they had ended up in the hayloft, garden, front porch...sometimes they even made it to the bed......Yep. Life was good.
There was a rider approaching....It was Newley O'Brien, Matt's deputy and the blacksmith in Dodge. Matt jumped up and grabbed his gunbelt.
Sunshine:"Hey! Where do you think YOU'RE going?!"
Matt:"(5.) After All This Time, I can smell bad news." He was right.....Newley told him about some trouble in town.
Matt:"Sorry, Sunny. I'll see you later." He kissed her quickly and rode off. Sunshine looked around the room. The puppy had just soiled the floor, the kitten was walking through it, there was a sink full of dishes and so many chores around the farm that she didn't know where to start. As she cleared the table and started for the kitchen, she slid through one of Daisie Dixie's puddles. She put the fruit away that they were going to have for lunch:http://www.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/460393/2/unhappy_fruit_face.jpg
Meanwhile, in Dodge, Matt was trying to solve an argument between members of the Cattleman's Association and some local farmers. Tempers were hot and so was the weather. Hours dragged by as no settlement could be seen. Matt longed to get out of there.....Return to the farm and jump in the lake with Sunshine:http://www.robertbody.com/photos-1996/images/1997-08-23-temagami-swimmin.jpg
One of the farmers: "Marshal Dillon!! Did you hear me?!"
Matt returned to the moment .
Back at the farm Sunshine was getting a wee bit depressed. She had really wanted Matt to spend the day with her. She knew he had an important job.....But....Well......She was a woman in love and they often think more with their hearts than with their heads!
She decided to take a break. She got her basket and picked some flowers: http://www.fotosearch.com/comp/phd/PHD216/38124.jpg
"I know that when I reconnect with Mother,
(Mother Nature) I'll get my attitude straightened out." She never was one who stewed in her own juices for any length of time.
She looked up when she heard the sound of a horse. It was Matt.
Matt:"Hello, Sunshine. I hope you're not angry with me. There are so many (6.) Things I Wish I Said to you this morning."
She walked over to him with her flowers. He smiled at her, took her basket and put it down. As his arms went around her..........." Well, (2.) Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, sometimes.....but...... I'm okay now, Matt. When I'm in your arms, all is well with the world."
Matt asked her what she'd like to do. She said she would love to take her horse, "Pickett's Charge," out for a ride. Before long, she had saddled up and they rode their horses up to Lover's Lookout, to watch the seting sun: http://www.arizona-leisure.com/gfx/mesa-1-lg.jpg
