I like the nature theme. Very original. I like Hunter, but you could go with Aloe, or Green. I like the name Forrest.

I also LOVE nature names for middle names. My daughter's middle name is Rainey. My expected baby girl on the way will also have a nature middle name (Brooke). If we were to have a boy, we would have gone with Bryce (like Bryce Canyon in S. Utah.) So my advice to you is to go with Bryce. I've also heard of people naming their sons Zion (Zion National Park) or Asher. Good luck!

The following have already been mentioned, so I don't take credit for them, but they all sound nice, I think:
Canyon
Stone
Reed
Drake
Glen
Flint
Some others that have "outdoorsy" meanings, but aren't so obvious are:
Rowen/Rowan (already mentioned) - a type of tree
Lyndon/Lindon - "lime tree hill"
Lyle - "of the island"
Leland - "meadow land"
Landry/Landis - "rough land"
Aiken - "oak-like, sturdy"
Ashford - "dweller by the oak-tree ford"
I really could go on and on...:-), but you can look up these and many others on websites like Babycenter.com and Behindthename.com...I hope some of these ideas will help you! Good luck and God bless!
