Heres another dumb question, but it really bugs me. I recently bought a new SUV. I always wash the car myself. For drying the windows, I purchased a long handled squeegee so I could reach the windshield without using a step stool (I don't like to use one, afraid of falling, I'm old) This is from Pepboys and the squeegee part is 10 inches wide. Because of the curve of the windshield it does not make a clean swope. I have a narrow one and that does the trick on the back window. My question is do you know of anyone who makes and sells and long handled "narrow" squeegee to clean the windshield with? Thanks in advance.

Buy the Mr. Clean Auto-Dry system --it rinses off spot free--has a special filter to remove any impurities in the water. Works great and no drying or chamoising....just have to buy filters and soap every once in a while. Or buy a real small wiper blade from a parts store and use it like a squeegee.

I'd buy a hacksaw.

Then you'd have something to narrow down your squeegee, and a handy tool for some other application later on.

the rule for the 2nd half is: dry on dry. so use a towel to dry the squeegee, then place it on a dry part of the window. do that for each stroke.

Here's some websites to look for it and you can use them for general accessories for your SUV:
