A Key logger is a program which can be run on a machine that records every keystroke a user makes. It is used for spying on people, stealing their passwords, etc..
Some are so good they don't even register in the task manager in windows. It is very shady software.

It's a program that is secretly installed on your computer that records every key you press and then transmits the results to a hacker, who looks through it for passwords and usernames and bank / paypal / web sites, etc... THen they use those passwords to steal your money.

Yes to all of the above answers. Download a free spyware scanner, like Spybot Search and Destroy and immediately scan your computer. If you do online banking, your private information is at great risk.

such a great program by spy recon and i am sure others..i have it at home on my kids computer..it logs evey single keystroke they make..so i have access to all passwords and even if they erase something i have all letters they right and web sites they go on and what they are im'ing to people..i use it as a way to monitor there internet use and to protect them from talking to people they shouldnt be..soooo worth the investment
