I know how to spell TORNDO. T-O-R-N-D-O!!!!!! I was on my moms bed for goodness sakes.

Trust me I live in TORNDO Alley. Im stuck in TN. A few ears back we had a TORNADO that was downtown and destroyed an 1800's church and the dressing rooms @ the civic center.
And we had one in the subdivison right next to mine. And trust me it was scary!

I have been under a tornado warning. What I did was prepared a small amount of food , water enough to eat if I am trapped under my house for a day. With some blankets to protect from falling objects. I went into the cold seller in the basement.
I did not stay in the cold seller I was upstairs most of the time looking out of the windows and watching t.v still. I also got all of my memory cards and my PC case tower in the cold seller reaped in garbage bags and so forth.
P.S It was really bad outside and the next day a tornado did touch down a few hundred miles away. and there were fallen trees on my street from the wind.

I wouldn't run into the basement wall, I'd just run down to my basement and keep the news on to see where the track of the storm is headed. If it seemed to be coming closer, I'd head for any low room without windows or doors.

We live in tornado alley... I have taken the top matress off the bed, covered the kids with it...and waited as the storm has gone over my area. I hate big STORMS!

Go to the most inner room with no windows. If ur in a trailer, get out and find a ditch. If ur in a vehicle get out and find a low place and take cover.
