I think this is the best non fiction book I've ever read; thought provoking, intelligent, and relevant. Do you agree?

Islamic fundamentalism and the UK's inability to deal with extremists is a problem.

However, if you actually believe the words of Melanie Phillips, little more than a septic tank in human form, you are clearly a moron.

Melanie Philips is one of Britains most respected and high profile journalists. I've not read her book "Londonistan" but I understand it is an expose of the number of Islamist aka Islamo=fascist extremists who claimed asylum in the UK in the 1990's while plotting against their own countries and the West. Many of these are now well known names as the inspirers of terrorism and hate.

Melanie Philips is a regular on the BBC Radio 4 programme the Moral Maze - do try to listen when it comes back later this year.

RJ -do you object to Ms Philips simply because she is a Jewess or because she is a forthright supporter of the state of Israel? Either way, No one loves a Jewbaiter.

I can't believe after everything thats gone down with muslims in the UK that theres people that still want to defend them and protect them as I've read on here. As for the book, I've never read it, but quite frankly, she shouldn't have had need to write it, going by the title! Nobody seems to realise that the likes of the 7/7 attack is just the tip of the iceberg of what we can expect in the future, the MI5 have stopped quite a number of plots involving muslims, so don't try to even attempt to moralise by bandying about the usual childish bullying tactics of calling people who speak out things against these people like racist and bigot, etc, etc. Time to realise that this socialistic 'do gooder' approach is getting us nowhere fast.

Funny you should mention it!

I work in a library attached to a day centre and an old man came in today and gave us this book. He donates books he has finished with to us. It isn't on the library catalouge butI have brought it home to read it then I will send it to HQ to see if they will put it into stock.

The man that donated it is quite opinionated about many issues and I disagree with his views quite a lot but that isn't to say I won't give his recommendations a go!

Ask me again in a week!

The photo on the front is quite chilling - the baby with the 'I heart al quieda' hat!

Having read a few of her blog entries, I think it's safe to say I won't be reading this book. The woman is a total loon.

Doesn't this person write for the vicious, racist, homophobic, misogynistic, extreme right wing Daily Mail?
