Even the professionals don't know. How would anyone here even have a clue ?

According the data there is a possibility that at least 4 or more hurricanes will hit this year. Were expecting at least 14 to 17 name storms this year. It will be a active year across the Atlantic.

Well the very best guess is to go with climatology which is the historical average number of hurricanes or tropical storms or whichever group you want to consider. Go to the National Hurricane Center web page and scroll down to the climatology link. This would be my guess for 2007. Ten named storms, 6 Hurricanes two of which will be cat 3 or greater.
