If you want to stay on the strip, I'd recommend the Tropicana or Excalibur. Keeping in mind of course that they're not the Ritz, but not exactly Motel 6 either. As with any hotel on or off the strip, Sundays through Thursdays are always the cheapest rates. Excalibur is $131 for Friday/Saturdays or $61-91 for Sunday-Thursday depending on the dates you choose. The Tropicana is $75 during the week, $125 for Fridays/Saturdays. If you don't mind staying off the strip, The Orleans hotel is another great choice. Their rates range from $110-160 for Friday/Saturdays, $60-100 during the week. They have a shuttle bus that goes to the strip all day from 9:30am to midnight.
For good deals on restaurants, check out the magazines you'll find in your hotel room. There's one called Las Vegas Weekly that will have complete reviews, approximate prices and everything for restaurants, shows, etc and it has tons of coupons for restaurants and show discounts inside. I've seen these in our hotel every time we've gone to Vegas.
Clubs are generally expensive. Most charge a HUGE cover, then you can wait in line forever unless you're female with lots of goods.
There are so many great free things to see and do, it's really easy to do Vegas on a budget.

Don't stay on the 'strip' or downtown (actually there are some good deals downtown, sometimes). Stay at casino-hotels, off the strip. Weekends are always higher than weekdays though no matter where you stay.
Buffets are cheap for the majority of your food, but you can splurge for 1 or 2 sit-down meals. My fave steakhouse is "The Steakhouse" in Circus-Circus.
Clubs: I never did (or do) clubs, so I don't have a clue on that one.
There are 'other' sites around Vegas besides the casinos: Hoover Dam, Red-Rock, Mt. Charleston, Lake Mead, Valley of Fire (north of Vegas).
There are 3 classes of "shows": 1. Famous-name (celebrity) entertainers, 2. Vegas-name-only entertainers, 3. Lounge-type shows. Obviously you pay more for 1. and 2. Most lounge acts are free, and there are bargains for Vegas-name-only type shows.

One of the best travel deals in Las Vegas is the public transit system! The CAT or citizens area transit has a vast network of bus services that can get you out of traffic and take you almost anywhere you would want to go all for only $2.50 for a 24 hours pass, what a value!

Go on Vegas.com they have a great run-down on hotel room pricing. The afternoon show at Harrah's called "The Mac King Show" is fantastic for the price. For clubs they are pricey but you can have a great time at "Carnival Court" which is an outside bar/dance area between Harrah's and Imperial Palace. You can still get food specials you just have to look ...off the strip in downtown probably is best.
Have fun. And remember to always bet on RED...or was it black. Oops I forgot.

uncertain how low of the cheap you're conversing or in case you prefer to be on the Strip or are keen to be off, etc. on the Strip Tropicana is an older place which you will get for tremendously decrease priced Flamingo once you're keen to pass up slightly in fee, it incredibly is been transformed and has very superb rooms Off the Strip Downtown places are tremendously decrease priced however i've got not been in any of their rooms to comprehend what the rooms are like. I think of Golden Nugget might have respectable rooms. close to the airport on Paradise Rd there's a hotel, i prefer to declare ultimate Western or something like that. it incredibly is in common terms some million mile from the Strip and the rooms are superb sufficient.

Take 1,000 dollars when you first get there and put it on a black jack table. If you win you have a good time. If you loose then you go home right away.
