how do u get a mystery gift...people say tat u hav to hav a mystery gift in order to catch mew lugia ho-oh and deoxys but i dont know how. and after u get ta mystery gift how do u activate it?

first of all Ho-Oh and Lugia are only obtainable from Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, respectively. Mew and Deoxys are "event" pokemon, which means that you can only get them if you got a special item from a real-live nintendo event. Mew can be caught on an island in Emerald with the Old Sea Chart (give it to Capt. Briny in Slateport), while Deoxys can be caught on an island accessible once you have the Aurora ticket in Emerald/FireRed/LeafGreen. To get any of these into Sapphire, you need to trade, so if you only have Sapphire and you can't get one of these other games your only option is to use Gameshark/Action Replay for them. If you have Emerald you can Gameshark/Action Replay for the Old Sea Chart and Aurora Ticket items to catch Mew and Deoxys, likewise you can also cheat to obtain the Mystic Ticket (Lugia and Ho-Oh). check out gamefaqs.com for detials on Gameshark/ActionReplay

you go to the market and and type in

THE guy will shocked and say you could access this by saving. THen turning it off . When your at the main screen were it says sapphire then press A and it would say

NEW GAME
MYSTERY GIFT
click on mystery gift and you need wireless adapters.
(i've never done it in any other game so i dont know how or what happens SORRY) AND YOU CANNOT GET THOSE LEGENDARY POKEMON!
YOU can only get deoxys and when you get the mystery gift to work you are able to go to islands 8 & 9.
I AM 90% sure that the game doesn't have those other legendary pokemon!

Is true you can obtain mew, lugia, ho-oh and deoxys through mystery gift. But you can only catch them during a nintendo event. Basically you go to the event, they will give you a card for the e-reader and that will give you a key item in game. That item will grant you access to an area where you can fight them.
The bad news is that there is no nintendo event planned yet and possibly they will give either darkrai, shaymin or arceus as gifts.

There is no mystery gift in Sapphire, only in Gold/Silver were there mystery gifts.
