The Wii is a totally new experience., but it can play old Nintendo games too. If you have game cube games, the Wii is compatible.

Ps3 Sucks. Sony really let us down and its showing in sales and reviews. Wii and Xbox 360 are two completely different systems. If you have a lot of friends who come over to play or siblings to play i would get the wii because of its price and its fun for multiple people. If you play alone a lot and you're more a fan of shooters go for 360, because of the online play and its more violent type games. I have both wii and 360 and i like 360 a bit better but if price is an issue wii has the best value of any system by far.

I personally prefer the Wii, but I may get a PS3 eventually (after the price goes WAY down). I hear the PS3's good, but anyone who's willing to spend $500+ on a game system has issues. I also hear X-Box 360 has some good games, but still lacks. By far the best comment I've ever heard on the X-Box 360 was "When you buy one, you're bassically buying a $300 paper-weight." Anyway, the Wii is an all-around good console. It has a new, innovative controller, great games, sleek look, etc. The only thing it lacks is graphics, which still aren't too shabby. Don't forget its wireless internet and online game store capabilities.

I'm not into the wii so I can't really offer a comment about it, but the other 2 I am familiar with. It is true that right now the Xbox is probably better from a game perspective but that will all change when the 2008 games come out. Also, don't forget about the Blue Ray player that comes with it so if you're into movies you get a game player & a blue ray player.
I also like the fact that you can download Blue Ray movie trailers, game trailers, browse the web, etc with the PS3 wireless connection and don't forget that online play is free.
If you're looking to the future and not today then I'd go with the PS3.

ahhh, a question me and my friends have had many heated decussions about. ive got a 360, so naturally i think that its better than the ps3 for a number of reasons. first, its cheaper, second, if you buy the rechareable battery packs for the controllers, the cord to charge them is longer then the 5 foot ps3 ones. some good things that ps3 has is its got blu-ray, wireless built in (360 needs a $100 attachment), and 7 people can play at once. but the graphics are pretty much the same. another difference is the games, i think that 360 has better exclusives than ps3. the only ps3 exclusive game i like is resistence, and 360 has the halos and gears of war. but as for the wii, ive never seen one or played one, but i wouldn't mind getting one. some things ive heard that people like is wii sports. and something i think id like is you can buy old NES SNES, and N64 games over the internet for $5-$10. i sold my SNES a long time ago, but i miss some of the games on it, so that factor really appeals to me. but in the end, it comes down to what features you'd use and if you had wireless or wired internet. hope that helped

I just bought the 360 elite and I love it. HDMI and a 120 gb hard drive make it better than the original. the online features are great and the game selection is a million times better than the wii or the ps3.

If you're looking for a low price or something unique, get the wii. If you want something with good graphics, get the ps3 or xbox 360.

THE Wii IS THE BEST!!!!!!! Go get that Wii, its the cheapest, funnest, and the smallest!!!!!!!!!!! its the best concole bc of all the games and movement. But one down side the 360 has a lot more shooting if you like that sorta thing. But who cares?? Go and buy that Wii!!!!!!!!!!

ps3 SUCKS. the wii's cool and it's cheaper too so yea... the 360 has the best graphics and online play and such so yea i would say that's the best followed closely by the wii but w/e you choose i'm sure it would be cool, except for the playstation
