This is such lunacy! This just goes to show that if you are the upper crust in America, you can buy your freedom. What does that say about our justice system? America can be bought! So we might as well be like other countries then and not have a justice system and take bribes instead. How pathetic is all I gotta say.

I criticize her for her irresponsible behaviour and for setting a horrible example for young women. But I must commend her for this recent stunt...convincing a psychiatrist and sherrif that she is too mentally unstable to complete her jail time is brilliance. She is accomplishing what no one else could do. Perhaps with money, perhaps with sympathy...who knows.

A smart defence attorney will - hopefully - use this case as a precident setting one. Lets see how many other people can weasle their way out of jailtime with this kind of excuse. And if they can't...we will see the HUGE hole in the American justice system. As if we didn't know there was one to begin with....

I dont have all the details. If the ruling she got was unusually harsh then by all means, get over it that somebody richer than you got free, if it wasnt then it sends out the wrong message to the American population.

I think it's disgraceful.
No normal person would be given such preferential treatment.
It is proof of the class system currently at work in the United States.
We are not equal under the law.
