Seriously, I bet you there are more people in that jail who has more psychological problems than Paris Hilton and they are still in jail. Why is Paris Hilton different?

This is proof that there is a caste system in the United States. Those who have the name and the money don't have to live by the same rules as the rest of us. It's just too bad money can't buy class.

Of course someone got paid off, it's sick. She committed a crime and should pay the price in full, and not with money. I'm not one to have strong opinions on celebrities considering how messed up the media is but it doesn't take much to know that Paris Hilton is an spolied *****.

It is B.S. If that were an average person- they would've gone to jail awhile ago and wouldn't have been given as many chances as Paris has.
Once again our legal system has proved that the rich can buy their way out of anything.
The only psychological problem Paris has is she's probably going "crazy" from not having her extensions and her drag queen-looking makeup on!

Well there alot of question there. But what happen in the paris situation i bet is the jail got sick of the media camping out in front of their jail, and was probably nervous that if something were to happen to paris, infection or whatever that her lawyers would be all over the jail. If you were managing that jail do you really need that headache? I think they just decided it wasnt worth it.

There are a lot of things wrong with our legal system and this is just a small showing. She is on house arrest....big freakin whoop! If it was a normal citizen like myself and I did something like that you better believe I would be in for at least half of the time. I know a lot of cops and judges and for the most part they are only racist which is not good but when it comes to power families they will do what they can to keep that money on their side.

Maybe not corrupt but definately inept. The morons who run the legal system in LA have just made themselves look even worse. They had a chance to show that they expected celebrities to obey the law and they blew it. She whined and came up with some "medical condition" and they let her go back to her house.
I think that any other prisoner who complains of this medical condition should also be let go. In fact, lets put them up in Paris's house with ankle bracelets.

Oh c'mom, the justice system is as it has always been;
totally corrupt and controlled by money and fame.
OJ Simpson got away with murder, but it is sad, sad, sad that he didn't consider the future of his kids.

Yes. If Little Miss Heiress drinks and drives and kills innocent pedestrians, she gets 10 days in jail, tops, yet if some poor LEGAL immigrant from Latin America drinks and drives, but kills no one, he or she get's in jail for months at a time, and may even get deported.
