a scam... a vaudeville ... the things money can buy in life... very unfair and yet another fine example on how people are treated differently when you have power and money..:-(

No, I do not think it was unfair. She should have never been put in jail in the first place.
Her time would have been better spent doing community service. She has the benefit of a great education and life experience in dealing with business - why not put it to use, and I don't mean by showing up in heels and all that stuff, I mean coming to work prepared to do some good.
She seemed sincere in wanting to make amends. Too many people always want to bring you down. I think she knows she did something wrong and only the future will show everyone if she is truly determined not to do that again.

Yes it is unfair. She needs to be held accountable for her actions. All that did was re-inforce to everyone that all you need is money and a pretty face to get away with anything.
Her "unspecified" medical condition should be specified as total BS. I really think that her "not eating, sleeping and crying" as reported was part of a scheme she and her lawyers cooked up to prove her mental instability. Honestly, this should be an outrage to all Americans. Yet another reason not to trust the LAPD and their form of "justice and punishment"

I am so outraged I can hardly get two thoughts together.
If it was you or I or some other person they would have thrown the book at use and we would have rotted in that cell-and crap on the good behavior-money talks and the rest of us walk.
This crap has got to stop-laws were made for everyone NOT just the masses. The powerful/rich snub their collective noses at us all the time and we let them. When are people going to wake up?

You're right, it is BS. I bet you that she will get caught again either with suspended liscense or DUI.
The legal system is corrupt. Someone got paid here. I don't care if you're rich or poor, if you break the law, you have to pay for it, and Paris Hilton is probably laughing her *** off right now, because she know she got away again.
Do we have to wait until she runs over someone??

I think you're being too tough on Paris. She is, after all, under "house arrest" for the remainder of her sentence. How would you like to be her, stuck in a mansion, being waited on hand and foot, swimming in your pool, eating the best food money can buy (cooked by your private chef). Come on if that's not justice, I don't know what is. lol. :)

i really dont know why everyone is making a big deal over it. I know someone who had 2 DUI charges. The first time, they simple finned him and his friend drove home. The second time, he spent the NIGHT in jail. Now granted, this was a while back ago, maybe 10 years. But, come on now.. And no, i'm not supporting the girl, i personally don't like her.

Absolutely unfair. Paris did the crime if it was anyone else they probably wouldn't have gotten off so easily. She should suck it up and do her time. Martha Steward did and she came out on top again. Her crybaby ways tick me off.

I accept it as just another injustice...certainly not the worst injustice happening today. I mean Gearge Bush isn't on trial for war crimes which he is guilty of...I guess people can take heart in the fact Paris was humiliated...If you are really angry then
BOYCOTT any show with PARIS in it.

I agree with you, no other prisoners usually get released because of a medical condition. If it was really something that serious, she should be sent to a hospital and then returned to fufill her sentence once she was "better".
