Taking birth control pills during pregnancy will cause birth defects. Hormonal changes during pregnancy can have very serious negative effects on a developing baby. If you think you may be pregnant, you need to stop taking the pill and see your doctor for a pregnancy blood test, as this is the most accurate way of testing. If you are indeed pregnant, your doctor will keep a closer eye via ultrasound to determine if taking the pill has caused any birth defects.

Yes!!!! Stop them immediately if you suspect it and see the doctor - ANYTHING you put into your system you AUTOMATICALLY FEED THE BABY. As a rule of thumb, if you would not take your newborn and give them the item, or your baby at 2 years old, then you don't take it while pregnant.
So, you wouldn't give the baby a cup of coffee, a cigarette, and definitely not a birth control pill. (Just make sure you use some form of protection if you go off the medicine, but CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR FIRST.)
Might just be a false alarm. Please be careful and good luck if you are pregnant. 10 months to plan!

Yes it can. That is why all packaging says that if you suspect you may be pregnant, consult a physician immediately before continuing to take the medication.

No, but at that point it's useless.
Birth control works by fooling your body with hormones to make your body think that you are pregnant. Those hormones are not know to cause birth defects, though it is best to stop them once you discover that you are pregnant.
Fertility drugs such as clomid ARE dangerous to a zygote, but birth control pills are fairly harmless.
