Paul McCartney. He is a great songwriter--wonderful melodies, if not always great lyrics. And he's a superb bass player, too. The bass lines in a lot of Beatles songs are so memorable and add so much to the songs. George comes a close second. A great, tasteful guitarist and fine songwriter, too. All those augmented chords are difficult to play, though....

John was my favorite, but he was very cocky,
