Breast reduction surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

I had a breast reduction when I was 17 (now 26). My insurance covered it because it was necessary for me to have it done. I had a lot of back and neck problems because I am a little girl and had very large breasts. The recovery was fine. I had some pain the first couple of days - nothing terribly bad. I had drainage tubes for about a week post-op. When I went to the doctors about a week after the surgery, they took the tubes out - uncomfortable but not painful, and then they took the stitches out - not painful at all. I LOVE the results even now to this day. There was some pretty bad scaring at first, but after about a year the pink scars turned skin colored and I can't even see them anymore.

Mine was done in Feb 2006.

38J to 38C so five pounds taken off my chest.

It was $8,000 and all of it was covered by insurance because I had health issues because of them (back/neck/shoulder pain).

I had no pain during my recovery, it all depends on your pain threshold.

My scars are barely visible after using Mederma and ScarGuard.

I did not have to worry about drains during my recovery.

I had one because of my back/neck/shoulder pain, rashes under the breasts, and grooves in my shoulders.

LOVE the results and my only regret is not getting it done sooner!

A breast reduction usually comes with a breast lift.

This site helped me out greatly with my research and before/after surgery:
