From the actual ISS manual (I downloaded the pdf file from a NASA site years ago).

Class 1: Emergency -- an event that causes a life-threatening condition for the crew that requires immediate crew action.

Class 2: Warning -- Detected hardware of software failure which requires immediate corrective action to avoid major impact to the mission, or potential loss of station or crew

Class 3: Caution -- Out-of-tolerance condition that is not time critical in nature and identifies impact which, if left uncorrected, may become a Warning.

There is also:
Class 4: Advisory -- Non caution & warning message which provides information about system status and processes.
