Feta and brie can contain the listeria bacteria which is harmless to most people, but can cause problems.
From the USDA website:
"According to the CDC, pregnant women are about 20 times more likely than other healthy adults to get listeriosis. In fact, about one-third of listeriosis cases happen during pregnancy. Listeriosis can be transmitted to the fetus through the placenta even if the mother is not showing signs of illness. This can lead to premature delivery, miscarriage, stillbirth, or serious health problems for her newborn.
Do not eat soft cheeses such as feta, Brie, Camembert, blue-veined cheeses, and Mexican-style cheeses such as "queso blanco fresco." Hard cheeses, semi-soft cheeses such as mozzarella, pasteurized processed cheese slices and spreads, cream cheese, and cottage cheese can be safely consumed. "

any unpasteurized soft cheese pose the risk of listeria, which I guess is a bacteria carried in these cheeses. however, many feta cheese products in the US are in fact pasteurized and don't pose this risk.

It's got a minute risk of listeria.
Of course you're more likely to get in a car accident, but "don't get in a car" would be an unacceptable restriction to most pregnant women. But it's kosher to make them all worry about what's on top of their salads.
The idea with the silly food restrictions is to lower your risk of food poisoning. Keep in mind that eating less is still lowering your risk, and the risks with well-stored, well-prepared food is really minute. When was the last time you had a listeria problem?
There's a nice rant about it here:
http://society.guardian.co.uk/health/story/0,,2090058,00.html
Excerpt:
"...told me that I could get listeriosis, thereby brain-damaging my foetus, without knowing about it. Now, listeriosis is an incredibly serious disease, with extremely serious symptoms, taken extremely seriously by epidemiologists nationwide. Get it without noticing it? If I got listeriosis, the national papers would know about it. It would be the third outbreak that has occurred in this country in the past 20 years."
